10 pounds of grapes, waitin' to be stomped!

Trying to smile while the grapes are all squishy on my feet.
Stomp, Stomp, Stomp

At least my toes look good!

Practicing Finale on Stage

Alexis Anderson was part of our family for Red Cast.
She and Ashley wait with their "ditty bags",
ready for Claudia to get them some fancy
pioneer dresses, petticoats and fancy bloomers.

Joseph looks great in his costume.

Quick photo with Claudia as she gives me my big fat rasberry dress.

Susie makes adjustments for Ashley's dress bodice.

Welcome and General Information Meeting.

Practicing the finale on the Outdoor Stage.

JULY- PAGEANT PAGEANT PAGEANT!

What an uplifting, inspiring and spirit filled opportunity
to be set apart as a missionary for the duration of Pageant this year.
Incredible experiences for my lifetime in just two weeks time
and the rest of the month as we continued to watch
and love the 2011 Nauvoo Pageant.

Here are some photo's of Ashley and Joseph
and I all Pioneer-ified.

Branson Vacation

Our family took our
Summer Trip to
Branson, MO

We saw some great shows and
went to Silver Dollar City Amusement Park
and the Water Park as well.

Everyone found something they
enjoyed during the week.

My favorite thing was flying through
the air in a harness at the
Ozark Mountain Skycoaster.
100 feet in the air!
It was Fabulous.  What Fun!

Buckets N Boards
This show was percussion drumming and
tap combined for a great performance.
These guys were fun to watch and
were comical too.

Joseph bought a pair of autographed drum sticks
and had fun with the guys after the show.

Living Legends was
a great Beatles Show!

We couldn't take photo's
during the
Shoji Tabuchi Show,
but their restrooms
were worth some photo's!

The Men's room was decked
out too, with a billiards table.

The Roller Coasters at
Silver Dollar City were amazing.

 Barn Swing
was another great ride was the
that went 81 feet in the air
and 55 miles an hour.

Some of the other neat things
we saw while driving around
was the Table Rock Lake and dam,
and the beautiful sunset with a steam boat.

A Quilt for my Mom

A Quilt for My Mom
Disapearing 4 Patch

I went to a Quilt Retreat not long after I moved to Nauvoo
I started this quilt then.  Mmmm...5 years ago.
Sad but True.

I finally got it finished with the help of Pam....again.
I am so thankful for her help, or my UFO's
would be RUFO's --Really Un-Finished Objects!

I liked learning this quilt block.
The Quilt fabrics are all MODA and they are geogeous!
I Love, Love, Love, this Quilt.

Roses and Strawberry Prints among others made
this a happy quilt.  I think it turned out quite cozy.
It was created with much love over these
last few years.

Pam finished two sides of the Piano Key border
and the outer border for me, and then
she hand quilted it.

It turned out fabulous!!!

I called my Mom on Mothers Day, and she opened
up the box contiaining the quilt.
My Mom said she Loved It, and would enjoy it.

I am Happy Happy Happy.

LOVE YOU MOM!
Happy Mothers Day!

Can you see the top of Joseph's cute head?
His arms are not quite long enough to reach the edges.

Quilt Backing that is the same as one of the front blocks

Piano Key Border--Lot's of Work, but oh so cute

Quilt for Robert's Mom

Rose Birthday Quilt

This was a quilt I made for Robert's Mom
for her Birthday this year.
My friend Pam helped me with the edging
and we had fun tieing the quilt together.

Robert's Mom said she liked it and has it on her bed.

Rob's Mom's Maiden name is Rose, so I
thought this would honor her heritage.

I loved the fabrics and figuring
out how to arrange it all.  I got the
fabrics from our local quilt shop here in
Nauvoo, Sew Inspirational.

I love Robert's Mom very much, and I am so
greatful for her example and love.

Happy Birthday Grandma Barlow!

Not the best photo, but I wanted to hurry up and get it mailed

A quilt for my Sister Anna

Purple Circles gone Crazy

My Sister Anna and I picked out fabrics
a long time ago.
I wanted to make her a quilt
to let her know I loved her.

It took forever to get time to do it well.
I found a great Circular Quilt Pattern
when I attended a local quilt retreat
and decided when it was the right time to
make the quilt that this was the pattern
I wanted to do, as it was fun like my sister.

I sent her a photo of the pattern and she
said it was cool, so thus began a lot
of curved piece work.

I bought some additional fabrics to match
the ones we had gotten, and I cut
out all the pieces.
My friend Pam sewed them together, since I am
not at that level of piecing yet, and I
wanted the quilt to get to my sister
so I figured working on it in part
was better than her not ever getting the quilt.

After I  arranged it in a pattern I liked, and
Pam finished the top, Pam and I tied
the quilt together, and finally
it is done!  Hooray...A quilt for my Sis.

My wonderful Neighbor said it was a bit much,
but I love the funkiness of it, and how can you
go wrong with Purple Circles???

Love You Anna-- Wear the Quilt Out!
