Epcot-Every Person Comes Out Tired!

We loved riding Soarin and the boys loved
Test Track and Mission Space.
We got to hear a story by  “Père Noël” in Canada and
saw Father Christmas in France.

We designed our own Roller Coasters and then got to ride them in the design lab.

On Safari at the Animal Kingdom Lodge

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful, and well designed and crafted.
The BBQ smell from the restaurant located near the entry was amazingly
enticing.  The Open Savannah's were so incredible, and to think
you could watch them from your balcony was neat to think about,
until you think about the price that goes with it.

It was a treat to go there and look around and see the many
beautiful animals, Heavenly Father created.

Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom

Today we were exploring Animal Kingdom.
Expedition Everest is my Favorite
Roller Coaster Ride at Disney World.

Today we rode it 6 times, and would of rode it more, but
Robert was ready to do something else.  I think the rest of us
would of rode it most of the morning if we could.

Joseph was always selected as one to take the tag
that lets the cast members keep track of the time
the ride is taking to get through.
He was amazed they kept on picking him
as we kept going on the ride.

Again....!  Can you believe it 3 times in a row???

And our scout master says we are hard on tents..shesh!

Big Feet, Little Feet...Oh how many feet you meet.

Osbourn Family Chistmas Light Display

Osbourn Family Christmas Lights Display

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on the
Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios
theme park is a breathtaking seasonal display featuring
millions of glittering lights perfectly synchronized to holiday music.

The lights are so extensive you may find it hard to comprehend their
magnitude.  Entire buildings are blanketed in sheets of multi-colored
lights, and thousands more lights form twirling carousels,
heavenly angels, and even Santa and his reindeer.
During the show you have a flurry of snow that falls from the tops
of the buildings, that make it seem more like Christmas
in the 80 degree weather.  It was awesome to see the large light switch
flipped on, and music from TSO kick off the lights all down the street
lighting up at once.  It was pretty incredible to watch and enjoy.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights started
modestly in Arkansas as a single home's annual display.
Every year, Jennings Osborne and his family set up an elaborate
collection of holiday lights, he bought the two houses on either
side of his home and lit them for the hollidays too. Over the years,
the collection of lights grew, and grew... and grew!

Neighbors started to complain about the brightness and the
amount of traffic that came to see the light display.  So in 1995,
the Osborne family decided to share their magic with the world,
and Walt Disney World Resort happily offered to become the new
permanent home for this exceptional exhibition of holiday cheer.
This year Disney switched the lights to LED's and now it is
more energy efficient and brighter than it used to be as well.

Disney World Day 3 - Monday

We went to Hollywood Studio's and had fun riding
Toy Story Mania and The Tower of Terror
and Rockin Roller Coaster,
and we even went to watch American Idol.

For lunch we went to Flippers Pizza.
It was a great restaurant with
homemade pizza dough and fresh
toppings that we all liked.

We all really enjoyed watching the
Osbourn Family Lights Display
come on for the first time this year
with new LED lights, that cover
all the buildings, on the Streets of America.
It was amazing.  The music was in part by TSO,
and the lights were coordinated to the music.
It was an impressive display.

At the end of the night, Robert took us to
Edy's for icecream.

Here are some highlights of our day.

This soldier hollored at Ashley and said,
"Wake up Princess and Smile, your at
Disney World..it pretty much required."

We always find time to Monkey Around!

Who doesn't love Mr. Potato Head.

Rockin' Roller Coaster is a great ride, but a bit load with Aerosmith blasting in each car.

This Photo came out really cool with the flash
highlighting the leaves in the foreground.
It reminds me of a colorized photo.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we used our Annual Passes and went to DisneyWorld for Thanksgiving break.  It is so nice to have sunny beautiful weather and time to enjoy family, friends and be thankful for all we have.  The Anderson Family were also here and we shared Thanksgiving Dinner with them this Holy Sabbath Day.  It was wonderful to have everyone tell what they were thankful for this year.
What a meal prepared by Pam,
Turkey an Stuffing, and Salads too,
Potatoes an gravy and marshmallow Yams.
Pam's famous rolls, and not one pie, but a few,
It was a great time for our Fam!

Pam and her wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Dinner - Yummy!

Anderson's and the Barlow's and cutie Rachel Madsen too.

Wilderness Lodge

We had a nice afternoon looking around Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Orlando Temple

It was nice to see the Orlando Temple
while we were here in Florida.
It was closed for shut down,
and it was raining when we drove by,
so we did not get out for a family photo.
It is so beautiful.

Disney World's Electrical Parade

The Electrical Parade was fun to watch.
The Characters were great!

Disney World Day 1-Saturday

Saturday, we arrived in Florida, and after getting to the condo and getting some rest we headed to the Magic Kingdom for a couple of late night hours.  We rode Buzz and Space Mountain and Robert made us watch the Carosel of Progress, saying it was the educational part of the trip, since the children were not at school.  Too Funny.  It was very interesing, however, and fun to see something that Walt Disney worked on for the World's Fair.  Then we went to get a place to watch the Electric Parade.  I thought it was great, and brought back fun memories.
Day one was fun.

Our Family!

Cinderella's Castle all lighted for the holidays.
